With a decade on the court, I bring experience from competitive play to every lesson. In high school, I played Varsity Tennis, then in college was club team captain. I coached high school level players between NTRP 2-4.5 but am open to all ages! I help students of all levels discover their potential and ignite a passion for tennis. My approach is both strategic and fun, focused on building a solid foundation.

Though, he did mention keeping at it before it gets too cold, which makes sense. I think the lesson was quite helpful, especially with focusing on my stance and swing. Born and raised in South Philadelphia, Coach Bryan Hughes is a product of Philadelphia’s parks and recreational programs. His 30+ years of teaching include 6 NJCAA National Titles coaching with Tyler Junior College, including 6 individual Rolex National Champions. He has directed community and country club programs in Florida and Texas and started Jedi Tennis LLC, here in Philadelphia, in 2008, as well as The South Philadelphia Tennis Association in 2010.
