I started swinging a tennis racquet at the age of 13 hitting a wall and getting fascinated while watching the major tournaments on TV with my dad and instantly falling in love with the sport! Fast forward, had the opportunity to play college level for NCAA II Division and the honor of serving as the team captain. Today, my love for the sport still grows as I play on a regular basis, participating in local tournaments and events, as I'm equally excited of sharing this fondness to other enthusiast people out there. My high-performance competitive certification from Sanchez Vicario Academy provided me a great insight of the game, full of drills and modern concept strategies of understanding tennis latest advances. I could teach kids as well, love to make them have fun and like the sport.

I'm Seiya, a varsity tennis player at NYU with over a decade of competitive experience. Growing up in Hawaii, I won 4 state championships and won National High School All American Championships before joining the NYU Men's Tennis Team where I currently compete. I am also currently a summer coach for the junior programs at ROOSEVELT ISLAND RACQUET CLUB, where I work with young players of all levels. I am also able to coach any age and will tailor every lesson to your goals.

I've grown up playing tennis since age 4, climbed up to a top 50 player in texas U16, reached a 10 UTR and played line 1 for my Varsity HS team. Went to Ucla and began coaching over 15 kids. I coached kids of all skill levels, but my style of coaching mainly benefits kids who are looking to hit a lot of balls and play points/sets. Obviously I tailor my coaching to all skill levels, but those looking for more intense hitting will benefit more.
