Hello my name is Alex and I am a local Nashville tennis coach with over 7 years of playing experience! I am also a PTR Certified Tennis Professional. I began playing tennis in middle school with an athletic background. I quickly fell in love with the sport and began training 4 to 6 hours daily. I continued to compete collegiately while majoring in psychology. I have always enjoyed helping others and tennis is a blend of technical, tactical and mental. I use fact-based instruction and psychological strategies to improve my students playing ability and mental game. I have coached tennis for over 3 years including 8 months at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, Texas. During my time there, I coached numerous nationally ranked juniors along with early childhood students and adults of all ages and all different skill levels. I am offering fun private tennis lessons, semi-private tennis lessons, group tennis lessons and hitting only sessions for all ages (kids, teens, adults, seniors) and for all skill levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced). So whether you need to work on some specifics like your forehand, backhand, volley, serve, service return, overhead, drop shot, approach shot, footwork, singles strategy or doubles strategy-I would be more than happy to help you out with your tennis game! I was a collegiate player at Lubbock Christian University back in the 80’s. I love team tennis and have been a finalist in both USTA and World Team Tennis. The game has of course evolved and I make sure my students know what it takes to reach their goals. Hello my name is Demis and I am fun, local Murfreesboro tennis coach with over 19 years of playing experience and over 6 years of teaching experience! From a very young age, I have been deeply immersed in the world of tennis, starting my journey at the age of 4. My passion and also dedication led me to become a member of the Greek National Team four times-twice for the U16 and twice for the U18 categories, where I finished the year ranked as the national #1. I pursued my college tennis career at Radford University where I spent four years, earning numerous personal accolades, including “Player of the Year” and also winning the conference championship. I then transferred to Middle Tennessee State University for my final year, where we triumphed in the championship. With six years of coaching experience, I began by teaching young kids tennis and have since expanded to coaching both adults and children and have taught at country clubs and academies in New Jersey and Nantucket.
