I've had the opportunity to hold private lessons since 2014 and loved helping my students achieve their true potential and goals. My teaching style is tailored to the needs of my students. My journey as a violinist began over two decades ago, and sharing that passion with students is incredibly fulfilling. I cultivate a supportive learning environment where each student can hone their musicality and technical skills with joy and confidence. While pursuing an active international performance career as a soloist, orchestra leader, chamber musician and a recording artist with two solo CD albums released and sold worldwide, I have also been able to maintain a twenty years long and successful history of teaching students of various ages, abilities and goals. The diversity and wide geography of my professional training have enriched both my performance style and my teaching approach and methods.

I've been playing violin for 20 years. I recently graduated from my master of music at Manhattan School of Music under the guides Fe do Associate concertmaster of the NY Philharmonic Sheryl Staples. I have experience teaching all levels and ages. I grew up with Suzuki method so I also have a lot of experience with it. As a performer, I've played with professional orchestras and also chamber music and violin recitals as well.

Liora is a teaching artist dedicated to bringing the joy of music-making to everyone through high-energy classes and performances. An active freelancing musician, Liora is a founding member of Trio Atropos, a clarinet, viola, and piano trio dedicated to exploring repertoire by underrepresented composers. Liora is also a founding member of Delicious Bass, NYC's premier (and only!) bass clarinet ensemble. She is a teaching artist with Musical Mentors Collaborative's Explorers program, leading group introductory music lessons including drum circle, recorder, keyboard, and ukulele to students at PS 2 and PS 164. She is also a teaching artist with Third Street Music School's Partners Program, through which she teaches woodwind group classes at PS 99. Liora is currently on the faculty at Marymount School of New York, and previously served as an adjunct professor with NYU’s Clarinet faculty, where she taught private lessons and led a monthly studio class. Liora maintains a vibrant and growing private studio with students of all ages in NYC.
