What fees apply to Coach Shop sales?Draft

Your Coach Shop is your personal coaching site. Students can view your services and buy lessons from you directly. Coach Shop sales use a different fee model from marketplace bookings on TeachMe.To.

Fees on a Coach Shop sale

Two fees apply to each Coach Shop sale:

  • Card processing: 2.9% of the sale plus $0.30
  • Platform fee: 0.99% of the sale

TeachMe.To does not take a marketplace commission on Coach Shop sales.

Example

A student buys a $125 lesson from your Coach Shop, and you pay the fees:

  • Fees: $125 × 3.89% + $0.30 = $5.16
  • Your payout: $125.00 minus $5.16 = $119.84

Choose who pays the fees

You choose whether you or your student pays the fees. When the student pays them, the fees are added to the price at checkout, and you receive the full price of the lesson.
