Hi, I’m Kellett. I’ve been playing golf since I was a kid and competing seriously for the past 10 years. As a teenager, I played in UJGA events and high school tournaments and I was on track to potentially play college golf... until COVID threw a wrench in those plans. These days, I compete in the Men’s League at Spanish Oaks and play in amateur tournaments whenever I can. I currently have a 3 handicap and am working toward becoming a scratch golfer. I’m mostly self-taught, so I know firsthand how tough it can be to improve your game without formal coaching. Over the past few years, I’ve helped many of my friends learn the game, and they’ve all said the same thing: “You should be a real golf coach.” So, here I am. If you’re a beginner or intermediate golfer looking to understand the game better, develop solid fundamentals, and build confidence on the course - I’d love to help you get there.

Wow! We loved our lessons. You can tell he has really geeked out about how to improve a golf game and knows which tips will and won’t help. He is really helping my 2 sons, and helped my husband, a lifelong golfer, fix his swing that he was struggling with. Highly recommend!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonGolf is a very complex sport and my goal is to simplify it for you. I like to divide golf into 4 main areas based off of the “strokes gained” categories: Off the tee, Approach, Around the green, and Putting.
Based on what your goals are and where you feel you are lacking the most, that’s where we would begin. For the duration of that first lesson, we would focus purely on that one category. We would then adjust the following lessons accordingly.
Lesson 11+These would only be necessary for checking up on your form or making sure you’re working on the right things. Maintenance really.
Lesson 4-10We would finish up any of the categories we hadn’t covered quite yet, then dive into more of the nitty gritty details of your golf swing, chipping form, putting technique, course management/strategies, and so forth. All the things you need to know about to help you shoot lower scores. I would hope that you’re not needing my help as much by the time lesson 10 rolls around.
Lesson 2-3Based off of the first lesson, we would determine what is the next most important category for you to work on, and dive right in. My goal in each lesson is to empower you with drills and knowledge that will help you improve your game, even when I’m not around.
Youth players
Working with kidsI try to make it as fun as possible and keep things simple. Kids will pick up on things naturally as they just swing the club and get pointed in the right direction.
Working with teenagersSimilar to kids, I try to keep it simple. I like to help them build the fundamentals and give them tools to progress while I’m not around. I try to meet them where they are at and customize the lesson to fit their needs.
