As a beginner to the game of pickleball I especially liked how Caleb thoroughly explained rules, differences between singles and doubles play, as well as mechanics . He patiently ran through basic skills drills and is overall a very pleasant guy. Looking forward to more instruction from him.

Beginner training plan

Your first lessonWe will start wherever you need to begin! If that’s straight from opening up the rule book, wonderful! And we’ll continue from there.

Lesson 11+As we go from here, the fundamentals should be sound. We’ll begin challenging yourself with more complex shots, intentional court decisions, and speeding up your entire game, whilst maintaining percentage play, through accuracy and consistency.

Lesson 4-10Once the hand-eye coordination is secured, we’ll begin working on essential techniques of eliminating unforced errors. How can we stay in the game, and make the best decision for each shot. Talking about where to be in the court at all times, shot placement, service strategies, and rally combinations.

Lesson 2-3Once we’ve established the fundamentals of the written rules, we’ll begin working on the motor skills of contacting the ball appropriately, thinking about how and where we’re hitting the ball, and begin conversations about where we should be on the court at key moments.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
