I'm Larry Howell, and my journey through sports started with tennis and racquetball before I discovered pickleball, a game I've been dedicated to for six years since 2019. My experience as a flight instructor in the Air Force laid the foundation for my passion for teaching, which I now apply to coaching pickleball. I hold certifications from the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) and Professional Coaching International (PCI) as a Skill Rater. Currently, I instruct at Riverview Park Activity Center in North Augusta, SC,, public courts in Aiken county, SC, and public courts in Augusta-Richmond County in GA., and Lakeside Park in Evans, GA. As a retiree, I am flexible and can accommodate your busy schedule for lessons. I love to teach married couples wanting to learn the art and technique of pickleball. Larry is an excellent trainer . Very patient and thorough with the fundamentals of the game! I highly recommend for new people interested in the game. He also is open to training couples! My wife and I had a great time.

Larry is a very patient Pickleball teacher. I am beyond the beginner level, but had problems with directional control which Larry was able to identify and correct in one lesson. He uses a variety of drills that enabled me to practice and sharpen my skills and give me more confidence in my game.

Larry has been involved in pickleball for several years. He decided he wanted to teach and passed the certification course from PPR. Additionally, he was certified by IPTPA, but is non current in dues. For a while he was the only person in SC to be certified by both organizations

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
