Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst, I assess the player in different soccer foundations: passing, shooting, ball control, etc. we then start practicing the basic skills with different drills.
Lesson 11+Learning advanced techniques while sharpening learned skills.
Lesson 4-10Sharpen the player skills in different aspects of the game. Focus on accuracy and mastery of the skills. Teach the mental skills of each position. Tailor the plan for the specific goals and position for the player.
Lesson 2-3Practice and improve the fundamental soccer skills: ball control, passing techniques, dribbling techniques, etc. Identify weaker areas for the player. Start building the physical fitness of the player.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAssess player’s level; identify strengths and weaknesses. Assess goals to build the plan around it.
Lesson 11+Address the gaps in the player level and improve player skill set and mental ability.
Lesson 4-10Focus on advanced skills learning and push the boundary with the player’s level.
Lesson 2-3Sharpen player skills in passing, control, dribbling, etc. sharpen the physical fitness aspect. Learn new tips for the mental game of soccer: proper positioning, anticipation, reading the field, etc.
Youth players
Working with kidsI have 10+ years of coaching experience with kids. The lesson has to be fun to the kids and tailored to their progression level.
Working with teenagersTeens grasp skills and tips much faster and my lessons will leverage their eagerness to learn fast. Specializing in a position or two is common at this age and my lessons will adapt to their learning goals.
