Will began competing in state and regional tournaments at 14, earning MVP honors in high school and holding the #1 singles spot for three years. He went on to play both singles and doubles for Allegheny College, continuing to sharpen his competitive edge. Recently relocated from Seattle to San Diego, Will is excited to share his passion for tennis with players of all levels. Off the court, he works in marketing, professional photography, and music production as a DJ.

I’ve played tennis all my life, always having access to courts and developing a deep appreciation for the sport's unique rhythm and strategy. I believe that each player should develop their own style because we’re all different. My dad, a math, tennis, and boxing instructor, taught me that these disciplines share a lot in common. Mastering tennis is about perfecting your shots, serves, slices, and footwork, but it ultimately comes down to the mental game. On the court, you learn the "equations" of actions and behaviors needed to outplay your opponent, turning each match into an artful challenge of skill and technique. For me, tennis is about the joy of the game, not just winning or losing. It's a sport that starts with love and ends with respect—whether through a handshake, a hug, or a simple nod if you're too sweaty. Most importantly, tennis is always a good time, and it’s a lifelong sport that can help you live healthier and longer!

My diverse background includes directing tennis programs at prestigious locations like the Four Seasons in Marrakech and Kasbah Tamadot in Morocco and well known clubs and organizations such the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Program in Philadelphia, R.U.C and C.O.C in Casablanca, Morocco and many others. Hi! My name is Tobi and I am a qualified San Diego tennis coach with PTR and have over 17 years of playing experience in the UK and USA and over 14 years of teaching experience. I am offering fun private tennis lessons for adults, children, and teenagers of all skill levels. I teach my lessons at a court in Tierrasanta. I also have a large tennis network so can introduce you to more players for singles and doubles!
