I played Division I tennis for five years at Texas Christian University and the University of San Francisco. Now, I'm based in San Diego and love coaching players of all ages and skill levels. With my background in kinesiology, I'm really passionate about promoting both physical and mental healthβwhether you're just starting out or already experienced. Tennis has brought me so much joy, and I hope to share that with you and help you find the same love for the sport! Both hitting and coaching are welcome!!

I like to share my passion for tennis with students of all levels. My experience as an experienced player helps me tailor instruction for optimal growth and enjoyment on the court. I have over 15 years of playing experience and 3 years of coaching, working with both junior and adult players of different skill levels. My approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, proper technique, footwork, and match awareness in a structured and supportive environment. For kids, sessions emphasize coordination, discipline, and confidence while keeping training engaging and age appropriate. For adults, lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether learning the basics, improving consistency, or developing competitive skills. I offer both private and group lessons and adapt each session to the playerβs level, pace, and objectives, with the goal of helping every student improve while enjoying the game. Let's elevate your game!
"We enrolled our daughter in Marianoβs lessons and saw progress within weeks. He is very reliable, attentive with kids, and creates a positive training environment. If you want someone who truly knows how to teach tennis to young players, he is a great choice.
