Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIntroduce myself to players and parent/guardian. Ask how they are, maybe their favourite team or player. Shift into a warmup, then maybe into some ladder work to work on coordination. Then into some passing, one touch, two touch, and maybe some technical like step overs and skills to see where the players abilities are at. At the end, move into some simple shooting for accuracy.
Youth players
Working with kidsA lot lighter starting soft and building up to intensity as we progress. More fundamentals and basics depending on their skill level.
Working with teenagersI would like sessions to be intense with older kids. From the get go, hard working and high intensity to maximize time on the field. Work more on attacking and defensive principles depending on position. We would do 1v1s to goal at pace to make it game realistic. All drills will be game realistic.
