Beginner training plan
Your first trainingI do a lot of watching the first lesson, meaning I set out drills or scenarios to which I observe the player looking for what we know, what we need work on and go from there.
Training 2-3Focusing on where we’re needing more help on from anything we dive into the things that are hard attacking that to help balance what we do know over what we don’t to turn that into normal play for them.
Training 4-10More intense practices from picking up speed. Allowing mistakes to happen so we can grow and learn from them and try to turn that mistake into something that we get better at handling.
Training 11+We continue to grow we keep attacking the things that we’re slacking in and try to turn that into normal play as much as possible. We keep focusing on the basics, but leveling up those basics and increasing the intensity of the play in the actions and the speed that we have with or without the ball.
Youth players
Working with kidsI make it engaging enough to wear. The kid wants to continue to work hard and train on their own without mom or dad or Coach in the ear telling them what they need to do. I try to make it as fun as possible yet as educational as possible so we try to combine the two and really just have a good time out there while we get to learn you know it’s just a win-win.
