I also played college tennis and college basketball. 5 years ago, I picked up pickleball paddle, and everything changed. I played in my first senior pro event after only playing for 6 months. I love pickleball and the pickleball community. I have now won cover 30 tournaments from 4.0 to 4.5 to 5.0. I have also achieved silver and bronze on several other tournaments. I get as much satisfaction teaching and helping people get better as I do winning gold in tournaments. I am the head pickleball pro at AAG in Mesa, Arizona. I have been teaching pickleball for the last 3 years. I have taught clinics, private lessons, youth leagues, and private groups. I look for specific things to help clients improve on, depending on your level and tendencies.

I’d say the lesson was very helpful, especially since I learned some specific techniques I can utilize. Adam’s approach is steady and clear, and I appreciated the focus on improving my backhand. Great instructions and information and It’s encouraging that I left with practical insights I can carry into open play. Would definitely consider another lesson to keep progressing in pickleball.

My husband and I have had two lessons from Adam and find him to be extremely perceptive of what we need, patient, supportive and meets us where our skill sets are. Oh, so far, the lesson with Adam was pretty helpful , he showed me the basics and what I need to work on, which was nice. Though I still have some rewiring to do in my play style, I think I’m headed in the right direction. If you're looking to get a better grip on pickleball fundamentals, it's worth considering.

I think this lesson really helped me focus on keeping things simple while mixing up repetition and variation, which should make it easier to take into game play. Next I’d like to feel more comfortable in the transition zone before to build on serve/3rd and when I get pushed off line.
