Quang Nguyen profile
About Quang

Hello, my name is Quang, also known as Coach David. I began playing tennis at the age of 5 in Vietnam and held the National No. 1 ranking in the U18 division for several years. I was a high-level ITF junior player, having coached by world-class coaches at Club Med Academies for almost 2 years and went through intense training throughout my childhood. I have experiences in competing in ITF touraments, Men's Open, USTA Tourneys, Futures and Challenger qualifying round. One of my biggest achievements was to win the Junior Davis Cup for Vietnam in Group 2 multiple times to push our country to Group 1. Coaching has been a part of my journey from early on, as I mentored younger teammates while competing. Today, I specialize in coaching juniors and adults who are either actively competing or striving to reach that level. My goal is to guide every student to understand all aspects of the game and to become the best version of themselves—both on and off the court—through tennis.

Oh, I had a pretty good experience with Tj's lesson. He took me through some drills to help me get my timing back, then we played a few games which were quite helpful. He really adjusted his approach to match my skill level, which made the whole thing more enjoyable and gave me a decent workout. Though, I think with more practice, I’ll probably see even more progress. If you're thinking about trying a lesson or just hitting some balls around, Tj’s a solid choice.

I found Tj's lesson very helpful. He makes critical observations and the technical feedback was straightforward and very to the point. I felt I made an immediate difference in my game, and left with very actional feedback to improve.

Today, I found my love for tennis. I had never touched a racket before, but Easwar taught me how. I have had coaches for many other sports before, but he was the most easy to understand and intuitive coach I have experienced so far!

TJ gave amazing cues that were easy to pick up on. I already feel like my forehand is much more consistent and controlled. He also gave me some great footwork cues that will help to make my serve more consistent.
