I bring over two years of solid experience and my huge passion for sharing my love of the sport with players of all levels and ages. As a former competitive soccer player, I feel confident with my agility, coordination and strategy against a variety of opponents even though I do not have a tennis background. I will teach you the basics as well as elevate your skills and provide detail for you specifically on how to improve and progress to the next level player, or enter your first tournament whilst having so much fun!! This game provides amazing exercise, socialization and competitive play. It’s “adult recess” as I say! Let’s go!!!!!

James Fish is a certified USGTF (United States Golf Teachers Federation) golf instructor and performance coach who has worked in the Golf Industry since 1999. James is also a certified hypnotherapist from the Alchemy Institute of Hypnosis in Santa Rosa and holds a Master’s Degree in Transformative Arts from JFK University. He employs his knowledge of Buddhist and Shamanic thought in his teaching methodology. Addressing both the inner and outer game, James directs his students to develop their focus using his uniquely designed exercises and techniques. James is currently a Club Fitting Specialist for World Wide Golf and teaches at the Foxtail Golf Club in Rohnert Park, California. In August of 2021 James passed his test to become certified as a Master Teaching Professional and is now in his 14th year of Instruction.. Last month James was given a battlefield promotion within his teaching body of the USGTF to be the Professional Examiner for the Master Teaching Certificate program for central and Northern California starting in 2026. I am a pickleball player, former health and fitness coach, and currently working in a private practice as an associate clinical mental health therapist. Pickleball is a sport I value for its creativity, physical challenge, and its ability to both quiet and challenge the mind. In my coaching, I go beyond advanced pickleball technique by integrating the mental side of the game. I represented the Czech Republic at the 2025 Pickleball World Cup Championship in Fort Lauderdale and designed a pickleball-based therapy program for teens with anxiety and depression—helping players build confidence, focus, and resilience both on and off the court.

During his time at Sac State, he broke numerous records and has won on the APGA Tour. He holds several course records, including a 59 at Rancho Murieta. Easton Hether: Currently a sophomore at Cal State East Bay, Easton has already secured first-place finishes in tournaments and was named the 2023 Conference Freshman of the Year. Anthony Del Dotto: A Class A PGA Professional and graduate of PGA/PGM New Mexico State, where he was a Jones Cup Champion. Mark Mills: Operations Manager at Jelly Belly. Mark improved from shooting over 100 to breaking 90 in just months through dedication to my 'Five Keys Method.' Although I now coach part-time, I have spent the past 20 years coaching and instructing for The City of Fairfield, Holy Spirit Middle School, and most recently, the Vacaville High Bulldogs. More than 10 of my students have gone on to play at the college level. But one of my proudest accomplishments is every junior player I have coached that went on to play in high school made their varsity squad as freshmen. Throughout these two decades, I have developed "The Five Keys" method of rapid learning. While I have specialized in instructing juniors with aspirations to play at the highest level, this method is designed for players who cannot dedicate hours each day to practice. The Five Keys Method focuses on accelerating progress without requiring extensive practice time. The Five Keys has consistently proven its effectiveness over the years, and I take great satisfaction in helping golfers achieve their personal goals, whatever they may be.

Whether you are just starting out or looking to become more competitive, I’m here to help you take your game to the next level and develop a basis from which to build a strong balanced game. I coach Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Singles, working best at the 2.0 to 4.5 levels. Lesson formats and content depend in part on your level of experience, fundamental skill strength, athletic ability, and general game sense. We will usually work on a combination of technique and stroke, footwork, strategy and tactics, solo and partner drills, and live gameplay situations. I adapt my coaching style to what you respond best to. I’m not an intense person, nor am I too relaxed. I’m here to be helpful and get you the results you’re looking for while enjoying the beautiful game of Pickleball. I’ll give you practical tips, drills, and focus points to take home and work on. I’ll help you develop a game that plays to your strengths, while helping you cover and improve other areas where you might need more practice. I have a background in Physics and approach the game from a scientific perspective with regard to the social and mental aspects that make Pickleball so fun. I’ve played competitive singles at the 4.0 level and am in a regular MLP-style league playing doubles and mixed doubles. I play a balanced game, with a slightly modern style focusing on placement, consistency, and well-placed power only when appropriate.
