"I was a complete beginner when I first met Elijah 3 months ago. Very quickly he was able to assist me with getting the right equipment and oriented me with ease. Coach Elijah breaks down all the components of the game and is patient yet firm in his approach. He also has great supplemental equipment to fast-track training ground strokes, footwork, etc. He helped me develop a one-handed backhand that actually has “fire power” and I feel much more confident going to the tennis court.

I'm an avid student of the game, having studied under several club pros for many years. With beginning Golfers, I start with the basics, like grip alignment, posture, and stance. From there we build to the full swing. For the intermediate and more advanced golfer, I like to cover the basics and then move into the full swing, including the takeaway, back turn, shoulder rotation, hip rotation, downswing, proper ball contact, and follow-through—pronation and supination of the wrists. For children, the important thing is to make it fun. I will also work with you on chipping pitching, sand shots, and putting—lastly course management and golf etiquette. I like using videotape where appropriate.

For two decades, I've cultivated a deep understanding of lacrosse, and I'm eager to share my insights. I grew up on Long Island so lacrosse has always been a part of my life. My playing career began when I was 6 years old, playing up with my older brother. I attended St. Anthony’s High School while playing for LI Express in the summer. For those years I was around some of the best coaches in the lacrosse world and gained invaluable information from them about lacrosse. After St. Anthony’s I attended St. John’s University as a member of the lacrosse team. I was lucky enough to play all four years there, playing attack, offensive midfield and defensive midfield. Upon graduation I decided to be a college assistant coach at Misericordia University where I was in charge of the defense, and helped lead our team to a conference title. Lacrosse will always be my passion, I enjoy all facets of the game and enjoy giving back to players with all the information I have gained of the game.
