I played Division II golf at UT Tyler for five years, earning three All-American Scholar honors and contributing to multiple team wins. I’ve competed in top Texas events, including the State Amateur and State Open(Professional Event), where I made a hole-in-one from 208 yards in tournament play. While in college, I worked at Willowbrook Country Club as an assistant pro, giving lessons and running junior clinics. I’m passionate about helping players improve their fundamentals, course management, and overall confidence on the course.

Jada Taylor is a passionate and accomplished volleyball coach with over 16 years of competitive playing experience and a strong foundation in player development, leadership, and mentorship. A Chicago native who grew up in the Austin area, Jada was immersed in volleyball from an early age, playing multiple positions before specializing as a Libero. Her coaching journey began early through volunteering at camps and clinics, continuing into college where she served as a player-coach and mentor to younger athletes. As a collegiate athlete, Jada earned a full scholarship to Grambling State University, where she became one of the top defensive players in the SWAC—leading the conference in digs for two consecutive years, earning SWAC Libero of the Year, First-Team All-SWAC, and All-Tournament honors, and ranking 24th nationally in digs in 2022. She transferred her playing career at Florida A&M University, where she was named Preseason Libero of the Year and helped lead the team to a SWAC Championship and an NCAA Division I Tournament appearance. Following her playing career, Jada served as Varsity Assistant Coach at FAMU DRS (2022–2024), contributing to practice design, individualized training, and team culture—cementing her reputation as both an elite defender and an impactful coach dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes.

With over 20 years of basketball’ experience including at a competitive collegiate level—I’m all about bringing the love and excitement of basketball to every player I coach. I’ve worked with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from rookies just learning the ropes to seasoned players looking to sharpen their game. My coaching style? It’s all about building strong skills and mastering those fundamentals, but most importantly, having a blast while doing it! Basketball isn’t just a sport—it’s a chance to grow, learn discipline, hustle hard, work with others and build life skills that go way beyond the court.
