I’m a former NFL athlete turned youth performance coach. I built DIVG LLC Fitness to help young athletes grow stronger in mind, body, and confidence. My training blends discipline, technique, and real mentorship so every kid learns how to move with purpose and believe in their greatness.

My name is Vernon Joines Jr. I was a 3 sport athlete in high school (football, basketball and track & field). After high school I went the prep school route and attended Hargrave Military Academy from 2008-2009. From there I finished my career on the D2 level at Bowie State University where I earned my degree in Sports Management with a minor in Management.

For over 25 years, I've been immersed in the world of tennis. On top of that, my love for table tennis has kept me engaged for nearly four decades, and I'm still at it. A few years ago, I embraced a new challenge: pickleball. I've since competed in various tournaments in Virginia, both in singles and mixed doubles categories. Just in 2023, I proudly clinched 5 medals – 2 in singles and 3 in mixed doubles. Beyond the thrill of the game, I have a passion for teaching and connecting with new people. Sharing my knowledge and experiences with others is what keeps me going.
