With over two decades on the diamond, I’m now taking my skills and playing experience transitioning into being a full time coach to pass down my knowledge and success to young baseball athletes in getting to the next level I enjoy coaching because I love the game. Teaching and sharing my knowledge, experience, and skills with amazing athletes ready to take their potential to the next level. I hope to not only enable them to succeed on the playing field but in the classroom, and in life beyond baseball as well I blend fundamental skills with tailored strategies for impactful growth. My passion is helping players achieve their full potential, one pitch at a time.

I’m not sure if her interest was high or if she just didnt enjoy it . It wasn’t until I signed her up for lessons and coaching with coach cole when I noticed not all coaches coach the same! Effective coaches keep parents informed about their expectations, reasons for decisions, and individual player development which went along way with Jackie and her willing to want to continue to play her progression grew on her and it was something over time she looked forward to doing.

I have had nine years with college coaching experience specifically focused on hitting. I understand that each hitter is different and it is my job to work with those actions. I am not a 'cookie-cutter' hitting coach. Each hitter has their own actions that I am just trying to elevate to the next level. I can provide information on the college level and what you need to do to be seen.

Paco Rodriguez played collegiate baseball at the University of Florida from 2009 to 2012 before beginning an eight-year professional career. From 2012 to 2019, he played at every level of professional baseball while representing five different organizations. Since 2020, Paco has focused on coaching and developing youth players through the Arizona Aces Baseball Club.

I played collegiate baseball at Francis Marion University (1 year), Prince George’s Community College (2 years), and St. Thomas University (1 year), gaining experience across multiple levels of college baseball. After my playing career, I transitioned into coaching and player development. I have coached with Thunderbirds Baseball Academy and Diamond Sports Academy and completed a pitching internship at Miami Christian High School, where I assisted with pitcher development, bullpen work, arm care routines, and game preparation. My goal as a pitching coach is to develop durable, efficient pitchers by improving mechanics, command, and pitch design while prioritizing long-term arm health. I focus on building consistency, confidence, and preparing pitchers to compete at the next level.

I have participated in baseball clinics and have experience working with and helping younger players develop their skills. I enjoy teaching the fundamentals of the game, sharing my experience, and helping young athletes build confidence and improve both on and off the field. My playing experience as a catcher and first baseman has also given me a strong understanding of communication, teamwork, discipline, and preparation. I have pitched in professional baseball for 16 years and have parts of 5 years in the Major Leagues. During that time I’ve played for 13 MLB organizations where I have played in the Big Leagues with 8 different teams such as the Dodgers, Padres, Diamondbacks, Astros, Mariners, Orioles, Red Sox and the Athletics. I became the first South African born player to pitch in the Major leagues. I have a tons of experience to share in both the mechanical and mental part of pitching.

Former Division I pitcher with experience at Pepperdine University, the Cape Cod Baseball League, and IMG Academy, I bring high-level knowledge and a player’s perspective to every lesson. I’ve logged 180+ college innings, competed against elite hitters, and trained under pro-level coaches. My sessions focus on building repeatable mechanics, developing velocity safely, and sharpening pitch command, all while tailoring drills to each pitcher’s age and goals. Whether you’re just learning the mound or preparing for college baseball, I’ll give you the tools, routines, and confidence to take your game to the next level.
