In the first session I would like to get a full understanding for exactly what the player hopes to achieve in his or her baseball career by having a short 5-10 minute conversation gauging the player’s interest levels and passion for the sport . This will help me formulate the proper lesson plan to achieve all of the player’s goals moving forward. We will follow with hitting drills with a batting tee and throwing drills to determine the player’s baseline skill levels.
