Greetings! I'm a dedicated golfer with 25 years of experience on the green, and a 7 handicap. Even now, I continue to play in City Championships and Amateur golf tournaments, keeping my competitive spirit alive and well. But the real joy for me comes from sharing my experience and expertise with others. My coaching approach is rooted in helping you develop a natural swing and cultivating your innate ability to play the game. I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. "Rian was awesome!! I told him specifically what I wanted to work on and understand how to fix it while on the course. We got straight to it, within 5 minutes he was able to identify some of my gaps with my swing and pinpoint how to fix it. He was very straight forward with clear instructions, easy to understand. He recorded my swings and showed me the wrongs, rights and progression throughout my sessions. Hitting off grass was also a plus, great vibe, great conversations, he knows his stuff. Great instructions for an affordable price, I highly recommend him!!

I hold the course record of 57 at my home course, Alhambra Golf Course, and have competed in multiple PGA pre-qualifying events. My journey began as a Howard University women’s golf team graduate, where I developed a deep passion for the sport. Throughout my career, I've worked for esteemed companies such as Pebble Beach Golf Resorts, Callaway Golf, and The First Tee. Under the mentorship of top instructors in the industry, I've accumulated over 3000 hours of teaching experience.
