Greetings! I'm a dedicated golfer with 25 years of experience on the green, and a 7 handicap. Even now, I continue to play in City Championships and Amateur golf tournaments, keeping my competitive spirit alive and well. But the real joy for me comes from sharing my experience and expertise with others. My coaching approach is rooted in helping you develop a natural swing and cultivating your innate ability to play the game. With over 30 years of golf experience and 15 years dedicated to teaching, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the game. As a former college-level player on a golf scholarship, and with a current handicap of 1.2, I understand the demands and rewards of competitive play. I work with golfers of all skill levels, focusing on etiquette and rules to ensure players understand the foundational aspects of golf, building a strong base for a solid game, perfecting technique to improve performance, emphasizing critical skills for on-course success in short games and putting, and sharing extensive knowledge of 18-hole play strategies. My teaching approach is rooted in making the game enjoyable while driving improvement. I am committed to helping my students excel in both technique and course navigation, cultivating talent, and instilling a love for golf. I'm a passionate athlete and coach with a diverse background in multiple sports. I've taught tennis and snowboarding, and I'm a 10-time champion on the MGA tour (Mediocre Golf Association!). My journey in golf began at age five, competing in tournaments by age nine. I proudly represented Davis Senior High School's Varsity golf team for all four years. Although I didn't make the cut for the University of Oregon's D1 golf team, my passion for the sport remained undiminished. During high school, I shared my love for golf by coaching kids at the Golf and Splash summer camp in Davis. Now, I'm committed to regular practice, striving to lower my index back to scratch.

I hold the course record of 57 at my home course, Alhambra Golf Course, and have competed in multiple PGA pre-qualifying events. My true passion lies in the game itself and in helping others discover and nurture their own love for golf.
