I bring 19 years of experience playing and learning the game of golf, with a background as a college-level athlete and collegiate golf team player, and extensive competitive experience. During high school, my team qualified for the state championships, and during that same period I competed in high-level matches, including a head-to-head match against Sam Horsfield, giving me early exposure to elite competition and pressure situations. While I have a strong understanding of the technical side of the golf swing, my teaching approach is not overly technical. I’m a feel-based player, and just like I play the game, I teach it—focusing on feel, awareness, and simple keys that translate naturally to the course. I believe great golf comes from understanding what to feel, not being overloaded with mechanics. A major part of my instruction focuses on the mental side of the game, which I believe is often overlooked. I’ve studied golf psychology extensively, including Bob Rotella’s golf psychology work, and I help students develop confidence, commitment, and trust under pressure. I’ve worked with golfers of all skill levels, helping students improve ball-striking, consistency, confidence, and course management. Every lesson is tailored to the individual, emphasizing changes that are easy to understand, repeat, and hold up on the course. After graduating college, I moved to Orlando to begin my professional golf career. Throughout this journey I was able to learn from many great club fitters, coaches, players, and mentors. Over time, I began to use my knowledge & expertise to help others and eventually started my own teaching business. Peter has had the privilege of coaching dozens of PGA Tour professionals and implementing his junior training philosophies with students such as Charl Schwartzel, Richard Sterne, Trevor Dodds, and Clinton Whitelaw, many of whom have gone on to achieve major tournament victories. With a remarkable record, Peter’s students have collectively achieved over 100 professional wins. In the last decade alone, every junior golfer under his tutelage has gone on to play college golf, with more than 70% earning scholarships.
