With nearly 15 years of experience on the professional staff at top golf clubs, including the prestigious Congressional Country Club and Four Streams Golf Club in the Washington D.C. area, Sam has honed his expertise at both the club and professional levels. His teaching career has allowed him to work with world-renowned golfers on various PGA Tours, including the US PGA, European PGA, Asian PGA, and LPGA Tours. Sam has also had the privilege of working with famous personalities such as six-time Major Winner Seve Ballesteros, two-time US Open Champion Retief Goosen, Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone, and even former U.S. President Bill Clinton. Sam’s approach to instruction focuses on individualized coaching, recognizing each golfer’s unique strengths and simplifying their swing. Shane was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and started playing golf when he was 5 years old. He currently resides in Pompano Beach with his wife, Monica and daughter Aaliyah. Shane played golf throughout his entire high school years and was the first student at Anchor Bay HS to ever qualify for the State Golf Tournament. He won Silver and Bronze medals in the US Junior Olympics during 2003-2005. He was acknowledged in the "Who's Who Among American High School Students Sports Edition." In 2007, he graduated from the SDGA Golf Academy with a Business Degree in Golf Management. Shane was part of the "Top 5" to hold the lowest handicap and won two prestigious tournaments including PGA Matchplay and PGA Stroke Play Championships. After college, he started his golf career as an Assistant Golf Professional working throughout South Florida including Shula's Country Club, The Old Course at Broken Sound, Via Mizner Country Club and Hollybrook Country Club between 2007 - 2023. In 2023 he entered the PGA Associated Program where he passed his PAT finishing 2nd place and started Level 1 as a B-8 Assistant Golf Professional. He is a Certified Master Club Repair Professional and has experience in Junior Clinics. He is also a very capable instructor that will be able to help any golfer achieve their goals. When Shane is not golfing, he enjoys bowling and has bowled three 300 games and finished last season with an 801 series.
