"Michael is an excellent coach. He carefully analyzed my bad habits and gave me a lot of helpful advice with clear explanations. I truly feel that I can improve after taking his lessons.

My coaching philosophy is simple: every session should be as enjoyable as it is instructive, no matter your skill level. I take pride in introducing newcomers to the world of pickleball and relish in the opportunity to elevate the game for those looking to step up their play. I've had the pleasure of teaching with the fantastic team at Reaxn Pickleball, right at the Burbank Tennis Center, as well as various other Rec Centers. My goal is always the same – to make sure that fun and improvement go hand in hand for everyone. So, whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or aiming to dominate the court, I'm here to make it happen. Let's dive into this journey together!
"Great instruction for a beginner player by not over explaining or providing too much information that can overwhelm. Thank you.

Above all, I believe kids need to have fun playing pickleball. This is still a relatively new sport for many of them, and I believe it can have many positive benefits to their mental and physical health. I have always enjoyed mentoring kids, having two of my own and having coached 5-17 year olds in baseball, football, and ice hockey for 15+ years.

When working with kids, I design lessons that are fun, energetic, and interactive. Using games and age-appropriate activities, I make learning enjoyable while building a solid foundation in the fundamentals. I incorporate drills that keep their attention and energy levels high, encouraging them through patience and positive reinforcement. My goal is to create an uplifting environment where young players feel confident, supported, and excited to continue developing their love for the game.
