Hi, my name is Chris, and I’ve been playing pickleball for over 3 years with a strong passion for both competition and coaching. I’ve competed at a high level, including the Collegiate National Pickleball Tournament, after earning a bid to qualify. I focus on helping players improve fundamentals, strategy, and confidence, whether they are beginners or more advanced players. My coaching emphasizes clear instruction, game-like drills, and skills that transfer directly to match play. I bring a positive, energetic approach to every lesson and aim to make each session fun, productive, and motivating, helping players enjoy the game while improving quickly.
"Chris is a great coach. I’m a beginner and we focused on just a couple things so I wouldn’t have too many thoughts in my head. He broke down my movements and had me focus on fixing just one thing at a time. I’m a work in progress, but a little less so. More lessons will make me better! PS. This app sent us to a park with no courts and their customer service is…poor. Chris and I found another court a mile awayourselves. Again, he’s 5 stars. The app, 1.

"I’ve worked with Alicia Reed and what sets her apart isn’t just that she’s a great player, it’s that she’s an exceptional teacher. Coaching is a completely different skill set than playing, and Alicia truly excels at it. She doesn’t just feed balls and say “good shot.” She actually sees what you’re doing, explains why it isn’t working, and shows you how to fix it. She pays attention to paddle position, footwork, timing, and mechanics, and she makes corrections in real time. She doesn’t stop for long speeches or overcomplicate things. She shows you what to do, has you do it immediately, and keeps you engaged the entire lesson. What I appreciate most is that if something isn’t clicking, she finds another way to teach it. She has a gift for breaking things down in a way that makes sense and helping you feel the difference right away. In a short amount of time, Alicia helped me go from a 2.8 to a 3.5 player. Her years of coaching experience really show. Being a great player and being a great coach are two different things, and Alicia is an excellent coach. I am a former D1 College Tennis player and have been playing pickleball at a high level for several years. I am an RPO and Picklr certified coach. I’ve been teaching at The Picklr since 2025 where I give private lessons and group clinics. Just a fellow pickleball addict that fell in love with the fastest growing sport! With my ping pong background I've grasped the sport and picked it up quickly bringing me to a 4.0 level in less than a year. Playing in cross club 4.0 league to continue learning and improving my skills has propelled me to my next chapter of joining a 4.5 division team this coming season just shy of 2 years into this sport. "I’ve been taking lessons with Justin for about a year now, and I can’t recommend him enough. I came into pickleball with absolutely no sports background, and thanks to his coaching, I’ve worked my way up to playing at a 4.0 level. One of the things I appreciate most is how good Justin is at spotting the little technical details that make a huge difference. For example, something like hitting the ball as it’s coming down from the apex or making a small adjustment to my footwork or paddle position, he’s able to catch things I would never notice on my own. His explanations are simple, easy to understand, and actually stick.
