Hi, my name is Stephen. I’m a 5.0 singles and doubles Pickleball player. I’m a competitive tournament player that plans to start playing the pro circuit soon, but also have a passion for coaching and helping others. My coaching style is a combination of encouraging, fun, while also trying to get the best out of my students. Before pickleball I was a 2-sport collegiate athlete, and have coached numerous athletes. Furthermore, as a competitive player myself, I am constantly studying, learning, and seeking to improve as a player and a coach. I've had a racquet in my hand since I was 5 and lived in Nashville since 1993, having grown up in Cnooga. I've won the Hillwood Country Club championship 4 of the last 6 years and picked up a passion for pickleball in 2020. I play at a competitive DUPR 4.3 level, bringing 40 years of tennis and 4 years of pickleball to the equation. I got PPR certified in 2022 and in October 2022 opened the Court at West Meade where myself and 3 of our other pros teach. In 2024, I taught over 500 people how to play pickleball with the Pickleball 101 group clinics we run. I teach private lesson weekdays at 9:00
