That weekend, I won a gold medal in Men's Singles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles completing a Triple Crown in my first tournament. Lo and behold, the nickname has stuck and is now forever★5.042

After moves to Arkansas and Germany my dad took me to the tennis, racquetball, pickleball, and squash courts to teach me the variety of those fast paced sports including the agony of defeat while our family moved around for the Air Force. He taught me how to play and compete. After learning and competing for a few years, I have had the privilege of passing on the game of tennis to thousands of young people including my younger brother who went on to play in 3 straight state tournaments in Texas along with 35 other high schoolers where 16 state titles were won. I have always taught or coached something but I officially began my tennis pro career at a Country Club as an assistant pro and started my pickleball coaching a few years after that. Four years later, I became a Head Pro where I helped develop several state champions and highly ranked junior players.
