My name is Sameep Koirala, and I’m a center back with 10 years of high-level training and competitive experience. I’ve played at my high school varsity my freshman and sophomore year and now currently play in the MLS NEXT league, where I’ve had the opportunity to develop against some of the best youth talent in the country. This experience has helped me grow as a smart, composed, and reliable defender with strong communication and leadership on the field. I’m disciplined, coachable, and always pushing to improve every part of my game.

I have played soccer for over 8 years and am committed to continue playing in college. I have played in numerous positions over the past few years with my expertise being in goalkeeping. I have coached rec teams in the past and am going to help coaching Enloe high schools goalkeepers over this summer.

I was born in Cameroon, a country in Africa. Lucky enough to be fueled by a lifelong love of the beautiful game, I've spent the last 10 years sharing my passion for soccer with aspiring athletes after my playing career in 2015. My coaching philosophy centers around building strong fundamentals, fostering teamwork, and igniting a genuine joy for the sport.

I honed my skills and understanding of the game through competitive club soccer with notable clubs such as Carolina Rapids and Charlotte Soccer Academy. My dedication continued through my time playing Varsity soccer for Hopewell High School and at the collegiate level with the NC State University club soccer team. This extensive playing experience has provided me with an intimate knowledge of the game's technical nuances, strategic demands, and the dedication required to succeed. My aspiration to coach stems from a desire to continue my involvement in the sport I love, but more importantly, to positively impact young athletes.
