Hi I am coach Chris. I have been playing tennis since I started high school. I have been teaching it for over 10 years now. I teach all ages from very young to adults. I have worked with a group organization that teaches large groups as well as being the high school coach for Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Eastvale. I always teach with the intention to make it seem easier so that it is easy to pick up while trying to keep the game fun.

I took a break from tennis for about 15 years and I wanted to learn the “newer” style of tennis. Chris has taught me some of the newer strokes as well as match play and in game thought processes to improve my overall play. I am a passionate tennis player who started training at the age of 5. Since that day, my life has revolved around tennis! I played professionally as a junior tennis player, participating in weekly USTA and UTR tournaments and leagues and winning over 25 tournaments. I also played in many academies abroad, such as Nadal Tennis Academy and Ferrero Tennis Academy. In high school, I played varsity singles number 2 and then singles number 3 in college. I am currently majoring in kinesiology, and I enjoy fitness training and playing tennis with my friends and younger siblings. I have completed the USTA Coaching Fundamentals Workshop, and I am currently working towards my coaching certification. I would love to share my vast experience and spread the enjoyment of tennis to peope of all ages! I like to focus on technique and biomechanics while keeping the sessions fun and entertaining--let me share my passion for tennis with you!

I have been playing tennis for over twenty years. This is includes competing in junior tournaments, playing in high school and junior college. I’ve teaching for almost fifteen years. I teach all ages and levels. Many of my players have gone on to play varsity at the high school level. My teaching style is to start with the fundamentals and add more as the student improves, constantly pushing them to improve.
