I'm a former college All-American and circuit pro with a 35-year USPTA /RSPA certification and four decades of experience as part of Wilson's AdStaff team. I've coached a diverse range of students, from beginners as young as four to seasoned pros at 87. My passion for tennis extends beyond the court; I've also navigated the world of tech startups and hold a degree from Wharton. Beyond my professional accomplishments, I'm a proud father of two sons (Go Blue!) and currently reside in beautiful Northern California. I bring a unique blend of athletic expertise, business acumen, and personal warmth to my coaching. I am the current Head Tennis Professional at Bayclub Santa Clara as well as the owner of Momentum Tennis in Cupertino. I am also the varsity coach at Lynbrook High school. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I've developed hundreds of youth and adults. My coaching is versatile and focused on excellent communication to ensure deep technique understanding and application.

My name is Jahan Vijeh and I welcome you to Jazara Tennis Academy. Tennis and fitness are my biggest passions. I have been playing for over a decade and still compete when I am able. I have been coaching and teaching for 8 years now. I love to incorporate elements of personal training into my sessions because I am a firm believer of not just making a great tennis player, but a great athlete in general. I have years of weight lifting and athletic experience and hold a Fitness Coach certificate from DVC. Additionally, I am a competitive Pickleball player and am starting Pickleball lessons as well.

With over 15 years of competitive experience, I’ve played in USTA junior tournaments, national events, men’s open divisions, and the ITA Summer Circuit. Throughout my career, I’ve earned numerous awards and accolades for both singles and doubles, and I bring that competitive edge and knowledge into my coaching. I specialize in working with junior and adult players of all levels, from beginners learning fundamentals to advanced players looking to compete and win. My coaching is centered on personalized development, with a focus on technique, point construction, mental toughness, and fitness. I’ve helped students gain confidence, sharpen their match strategies, and achieve their goals, whether it’s making their school team or competing in tournaments. I have over 10 years of experience coaching at the High School level. I have also coached through Parks and Recreation departments through the City of Berkeley and the City of El Cerrito for 3 years.
