Fabiana Rezak has been involved in tennis for over 40 years as a tennis player, parent, and private certified instructor/coach. For thirty years she has helped many institutions and schools bring tennis to their students, members and constituents, ranging from young children to older adults. Fabiana understands how to make lessons fun and easy to follow, yet challenging for a continuous involvement in the sport. Fabiana started playing tennis at the age of six and competing in sanctioned tournaments since eight years old. Having grown up in Buenos Aires Argentina, home to world renowned players and coaches, she was lucky to have been exposed to great training during her formative years. She became a top 10 national junior through the different age groups and competed in international tournaments. At seventeen she was offered to play Division I tennis in the U.S.A. and was inducted in the University of Toledo Varsity Hall of Fame. She is certified by the PTR and USPTA, and volunteers with the USTA Long Island Tennis Board to help create programs throughout the region and make the game more accessible for all to play. Also, as a Clinician for the USTA she trains Physical Education teachers and community leaders how to teach and introduce tennis in schools or other settings. Furthermore, she is a Pilates, yoga, Tai Chi and group fitness instructor, also working with special populations who experience chronic health conditions. From my early experience in the sport of Tennis I have learned that teaching must be promoted from discipline and the joy of competing. I started playing since a was very young until l became a player with international projection, managing to be ranked 180 ITF juniors, participate in Olympic and Central American cycles, especially in the world-famous Davis Cup, adding some professional ITF tournaments alongside, where the best athletes in this sport are measured.
