I'm a 4.0 pickleball player with 2 years of experience in pickleball, but 30+ years of coaching and mentoring other athletes. I specialize in beginning to intermediate level players. I enjoy introducing new players to pickleball and helping define the intermediate player's skill level. My patient personality and passion for teaching make me an ideal coach for players looking to improve their game. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn your first pickleball lesson, you should focus on learning the basic grip, proper serving technique, fundamental strokes like forehand and backhand, understanding the court layout and non-volley zone ("kitchen"), basic gameplay rules including scoring, and how to position yourself on the court effectively, all while emphasizing a comfortable and controlled approach to hitting the ball.
Lesson 11+Rinse and repeat. Helping you improve your deficiencies.
Lesson 4-10Getting comfortable with single aspects of the game, the serve the return, the volley, dinking and the drop shots, this is all achieved by repetition. Focusing on accuracy and placement of basic shots
Lesson 2-3More in depth practice of the serve and return of serve. More understanding of the rules and basic strategies of the game As a relates to the importance of team work, positioning, the kitchen line and keeping the opposing team back when possible.

If you need to cancel your lesson, no worries! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking. We want to make the process as hassle-free as possible for you.

And if you simply want to reschedule your lesson, change the date and time, or adjust the number of students joining, we've got you covered there too. You can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
