Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor beginners, on the first day we’ll start with the basics. I’ll teach you the main tennis grips and strokes (forehand and backhand) and use some fun drills to practice them.
Lesson 11+At 11+ lessons, we’ll begin to focus on improving the more detailed parts of what you learned in lessons 1-10. You’ll also learn how to serve and start to establish a strong grasp for the fundamentals of match-play.
Lesson 4-10After a few lessons, you’ll get to see your groundstrokes improve and you’ll learn how to volley at the net. We’ll start to focus more on footwork and proper positioning in the court.
Lesson 2-3In the 2nd and 3rd lessons, you’ll improve your forehand and backhand and get more comfortable switching between the two during a rally.
