I like to start with fundamentals and proper technique. We will focus on grip, basic swing mechanics, footwork, and rallying at a comfortable pace. My goal is to help the player feel confident, have fun, and leave the first lesson understanding the basics of the game.
In ongoing lessons, training becomes more personalized based on the player’s goals. We will focus on improving consistency, confidence, and overall game awareness. Lessons may include live point play, strategy, and continued technique refinement to help the player progress and enjoy the game long term.
From lessons four through ten, players will continue refining technique while adding more structure and variety. We will work on serve development, return basics, court positioning, and simple point play. Sessions will focus on consistency, footwork, and building match-ready habits at a comfortable pace.
In lessons two and three, players can expect to build on the fundamentals. We will continue improving forehand and backhand technique, introduce basic serving, and work on consistency and movement. Players will begin rallying more and developing better control and confidence.
The first lesson focuses on evaluating technique, movement, and overall game style while setting clear goals.
Ongoing lessons are tailored to the player’s goals, focusing on match play, strategy, and continued performance improvement.
Lessons four through ten emphasize match-specific drills, point construction, footwork, and decision-making under pressure.
Lessons two and three focus on refining strokes, improving consistency at higher pace, and developing serve and return patterns.
