Shane’s experience includes GOLFTEC, Quintero Golf Club, Club Champion, and Woodland Hills Country Club. Shane has been a coach, master fitter, and golf fitness instructor following his career as a United States Army Infantryman and Education at Kent State University and Arizona State University.

For a little over 30 years I’ve been a PGA instructor and successfully helped golfers from beginners to touring professionals hone their golfing skills. I will make you better at this great game no matter your skill level. My experience of playing at all levels including the PGA Tour coupled with my teaching background enable me to connect with all levels of golfers. I teach at Papago golf course which is also the home Arizona State University golf teams. Papago Opened in September of 1963 and Hosted the 1971 USGA Public Links Championship with my father Arch as the first Head Professional. Watching him teach as I was growing up gave me the fundamentals for teaching philosophy that has carried with me throughout my entire career. I specialize in Private one-on-one lessons covering the entire spectrum of the game, but also will do group lessons and clinics for the short game only. With over 20 years immersed in the game, I bring a lifetime of competitive and professional golf experience to my coaching. I played Division 1 college golf at the highest level, competed professionally, and have caddied on the PGA Tour—giving me firsthand insight into what it takes to perform at every level of the game. My coaching blends deep technical knowledge with real-world, tour-level strategy, helping players of all skill levels unlock their full potential.

In the 22 years of my golf career, I was able to win 2 collegiate events while representing the UCLA Golf Team (Setting the UCLA record at Chambers Bay (Shooting 62) and winning one event as a professional golfer in 2021. Now, I play as +5 handicap on the course! I am currently teaching any golfers all the way from beginners to scratch golfers. I was once a beginner when I was young starting out and I also was in a stage of shooting in 80s consistently and had to learn how to break the ice to shoot under par. I would love to share this crazy golf journey with you and help you get to whatever goals you set for the year! Colin is a PGA Golf Coach and content creator with over 16,000 hours of coaching experience. His approach is all about simplifying the swing to help golfers feel comfortable, with a focus on better movement leading to improvement. As part of his #GolfBodyType screening process, he helps golfers grow their understanding of their mind, body, and unique swing. Colin’s goal is to make your misses less memorable and empower you to become your own coach. He offers in-person lessons at Dobson Ranch Golf Course in Arizona, as well as travel lessons and virtual coaching via FaceTime and the Golf Live App. Colin is also a certified ISSA trainer and is always available for anyone seeking guidance in their golf journey.
