A UCSD graduate and All-American for the UCSD Golf Team, Bob's expertise spans over decades of playing and teaching at the highest levels. He currently coaches notable players such as 2011 Women's U.S. Open Champion So Yeon Ryu, the 2012 Korean National Team, PGA Tour and Ryder Cup player Chris Riley, and NCAA champions like Ani Gulugian of UCLA. Bob's coaching portfolio extends to collegiate players from Northwestern, UOP, LMU, William & Mary, and Cal, reflecting his ability to nurture talent across all levels. As a master instructor, he specializes in the full swing, short game, and mental aspects of golf. As a player, Bob competed on the Golden State and Canadian Tours, played in the PGA Buick Invitational, and won city championships in Coronado and Costa Mesa. He remains an active competitor, representing the San Diego Chapter of the PGA as a member of the 2011 Century Club Team. A PGA member since 2002, Bob combines his passion for golf with a deep commitment to helping players achieve their full potential.

I have been around the game for a good amount of time and have experience in both instruction and competition. Whether you are brand new to the sport or are a seasoned competitor, I’m available to help in any way I can. I love this game and truly enjoy inspiring others to find their passion for golf.

Originally from Sweden, Henrik’s passion for golf started at age 11, growing up surrounded by a culture of excellence and friendly competition. He played professionally on the European Challenge Tour, Asian Tour, South American Tour, and Swedish Golf Tour before transitioning to coaching in 1990. Henrik has spent the past 30 years coaching national teams from Sweden, Norway, and Belgium, as well as players in numerous European and World Championships. He now teaches at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course in San Diego, where his fluency in Swedish, English, and French allows him to coach globally. Henrik also shares his expertise in biomechanics and technique as an international lecturer.

I am a USGTF-certified coach, mini-tour player, and scratch golfer with a best score of 65. With a deep passion for the game and years of competitive experience, I love helping golfers refine their skills and reach their full potential. Conner Johnson is a highly regarded lead instructor at CaliGolf Academy and recently earned the prestigious title of Golf Digest Best Young Teacher in America. Before joining CaliGolf Instruction, he honed his skills at the Jim McLean Elite Junior Golf Center in Fort Worth, Texas, where he worked with many of the top junior golfers in the country. Conner is passionate about teaching players of all abilities, from high-performance juniors to weekend golfers, and he aims to make the game enjoyable for everyone looking to improve their skills and have fun on the course.
