"My lesson with Chris was quite helpful, especially since he provided helpful tips and video feedback. Though I need to practice consistency hitting straight and build good habits, I feel more aware of what to focus on next. It's good to have practical guidance that I can work with over time. If you're after insights to refine your game, Chris is definitely worth considering.

My journey in golf began at age five, competing in tournaments by age nine. I proudly represented Davis Senior High School's Varsity golf team for all four years. Although I didn't make the cut for the University of Oregon's D1 golf team, my passion for the sport remained undiminished. During high school, I shared my love for golf by coaching kids at the Golf and Splash summer camp in Davis. Now, I'm committed to regular practice, striving to lower my index back to scratch.
"Lots of knowledge, I definitely felt improvement after the first lesson by incorporating Jake's feedback.

Ricardo Terlaje, national team player, has proudly represented his country in numerous high-level amateur events. I use one the #1 swing training aids (pro sender) created Sean foley (past coach of Tiger Woods) and David Woods. { I have a simplified 3 part swing training to make any golfer better at the game. After proper stance and positioning I have simplified the entire swing to 3 easy steps} With a specialization in the short game, Ricardo's skills on the golf course have garnered admiration and respect from his peers. His dedication and passion for the sport shine through in every swing, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence in their own game.
"Great lesson! Will be scheduling again! Dialed in some basics I was missing. Looking forward to learning more.

Willing to come to you! From North San Diego to Orange County. My coaching style is rooted in patience, personalization, and progress. I believe every golfer—whether brand new or returning to the game—deserves coaching that meets them where they are.. My approach focuses on simplifying the game as much as possible so that each swing, routine, and decision becomes repeatable under real on-course conditions. Golf doesn't have to be complicated to be effective—I aim to give students tools they can rely on, even when pressure builds. I also work with kids who want to give golf a try. "I had a really solid lesson with Steve, and the focus on my setup made a noticeable difference, which was quite helpful. Still, I’d say there’s room to fine-tune some aspects for better consistency. Though I’m optimistic about my progress, it’s definitely worth giving Steve a try if you want a grounded, practical approach.
