He went to university in Georgia and after a decent college career turned pro and played the mini tours in Florida, then the Australian tour and South African Sunshine tour. After a couple of years as a playing professional, he went through the PGA training in the UK and became a teaching pro at Blackmoor GC in Southern England. Michael then took a job with well renown European Tour teacher, Jamie Gough at this golf school in Cape Town. Michael worked there for 3 years before moving to Europe and spending 8 years teaching in Germany and Switzerland before moving to America. Bio: Falling in love with golf at a young age truly changed my life. As a multi-sport athlete growing up, I quickly realized that no sport blends life lessons and endless opportunities to improve quite like this game. In high school, I had multiple top 25 finishes in the WA state tournament, and as an adult I've won 5 men's club tournaments at my local club in San Jose, including a Club Championship. Professionally, I've always prioritized incorporating service and education into my work. I earned my Masters in Teaching from USC in 2018 and since have both coached and taught high school, college and grad students. Very little energizes me more than helping passionate individuals improve at their desired skills. I've worn numerous hats in life: sportscaster, franchise owner, marketing professional, jazz musician and now a Master teaching golf professional.
