I've been playing soccer for about 20 years, including over 15 years in licensed amateur and professional leagues in Turkey. After earning my PE teaching certification, I started helping others learn and enjoy the sport. A few years ago, I had to stop playing competitively after an ACL injury, but soccer never left my life. My hard work paid off when I was recruited to play NCAA Division 1 soccer, further sharpening my competitive edge. Soon after, with the hunger for more, I made the decision to move to Europe first arriving and playing in France, Denmark and then finally; Spain. I continued to live and play professionally in Spain for 3 years until moving back to Florida to continue my career both as a high level player and coach.
