TeachMe.To connects skilled instructors with Students looking for private lessons in sports, fitness, and skill-based activities. If you’re an experienced coach or athlete and want to teach lessons in your area, you can apply to join the platform in just a few minutes.
Here’s how to start your application:
1. Go to TeachMe.To and Tap “Become a Pro”
- Visit TeachMe.To
- Tap the three bars in the upper-right corner
- Select “Become a Pro”
This opens the instructor onboarding flow where you can begin setting up your teaching profile.
2. Choose the Skill You Want to Teach
- You’ll see a list of skills and activities commonly taught on TeachMe.To (e.g., golf, tennis, pickleball, fitness, yoga, and more).
- Select the skill that best matches your expertise.
- You can add additional skills later after your profile is approved.
3. Answer a Few Questions About Your Experience
TeachMe.To will ask brief questions about your:
- Teaching background
- Playing or competitive experience
- Certifications (if applicable)
- Preferred coaching style
Your responses are used to automatically generate a professional bio for your profile, which you can edit later.
4. Share Your ZIP Code and Teaching Area
Enter your ZIP code so TeachMe.To can:
- Suggest nearby teaching locations
- Map out convenient spots for Students
- Improve your visibility in your local market
Make sure you don’t skip this step. It helps Students find you.
5. Upload a High-Quality Headshot
Your profile photo is one of the most important parts of your listing.
Upload a clear, professional-looking headshot that helps Students recognize you when you meet for your lesson.
Tips:
- Good lighting
- No sunglasses
- Neutral or outdoor background
- Face centered in the frame
6. Set Your Hourly Rate
Choose your preferred hourly rate per lesson.
As an independent coach on TeachMe.To, you set your own pricing based on your:
- Experience
- Credentials
- Local market
- Teaching locations
You can adjust your rate at any time after approval.
7. Fill Out Your Basic Information and Submit
Complete the remaining fields, which may include:
- Your name
- Email and phone
- Short profile details
- Availability preferences
Once everything looks good, tap Submit.
Your profile will then be reviewed by the TeachMe.To team. If approved, you’ll receive an email confirmation and can begin accepting Students.
What Happens After Approval?
Once your profile is live, you can:
- Add more teaching locations
- Update pricing or availability
- Respond to Student booking requests
- Build your reputation through ratings and reviews
