Born in Darien, CT, I moved to Europe after college to play Euro League basketball. I spent five years in Norway, playing for the city of Kristiansand, and then transferred to Germany, where I played for four years in Munich. I decided to settle in Germany after my son was born in 2018. However, in 2022, I had to move back home to care for my parents after my father was diagnosed with cancer. Following his passing, my mother developed depression and needed special care, prompting me to stay permanently to support her. Amidst these challenges, pickleball became my refuge. I dedicated all my free time to learning and mastering the sport, with the hope of one day passing on these skills to others who might also need refuge.
